Designing for Nixon was personal in the best way. The brand’s got culture, roots, and an aesthetic I connected with since my first board—and my first watch—in high school. Being able to bridge my creative skills with my real-life love for surf, skate, and snow made every project hit different.
My work focused on digital design for multi-channel campaigns. With assets spanning emails, landing pages, on-site, paid social, you name it. My main focus was finding ways to make things move, capture attention quickly, and learn to get the most mileage out of any asset. I also spearheaded Nixon’s first retention email series: a personalized, multi-step campaign that not only engaged new customers right after their first purchase, but also cross-sold other products and wove them deeper into the brand story.
It’s always fun creating when you know that you are the target audience.
