When a legacy cannabis brand decides to launch an IPO, you know you’re in for a ride. My contract with High Times blended the autonomy of freelancing with the intensity of a creative sprint. One that required art direction, cross-team collaboration, and plenty of road snacks (hello San Diego to LA commute).
My core focus? Overhauling the website’s investor portal UI to make it not just look sharper, but work smoother for potential shareholders and stakeholders—especially leading up to the IPO. I also drove production for marketing emails, campaign assets, and was the go-to for design QA.
Plus, I provided real-time creative support for junior designers + devs, coached the team during multiple in-house shoots, and acted as the connective tissue between digital, marketing, and production.

Identified + resolved front-end bugs on tight deadlines
Supported art direction + production needs for campaign photo and video shoots
